We had
a wonderful trip to Niagara Falls and Thousand
Islands on July 4th along with other four dear friends. Would you
believe we covered all those places in just one and a half days?
Yes, we did it in a pretty beat-up schedule, and so much have we
enjoyed it. It was all packed everywhere on Independence Day, still
we managed to take some not-so-bad pictures, mostly just
point-n-shoot. Arriving
at 6:00 in a cloudy afternoon, we missed the typical view of the
Niagara Falls shining with a vivid rainbow in the misty water, but
they never fail to show breathless visitors their different kind of beauty in
different time and weather. We found it more mysterious and
sensational when it's shielded from dazzling sunlight by clouds.
Especially after "Maid of the Mist" brought us right into the "Horseshoe Falls", we
heard the marvelous thunder-like heart beat of this powerful and magnificent
natural miracle. Thousand Islands
is where Eastern Lake Ontario meets the St. Lawrence River. It
is so pretty. Our hearts were taken right away. Cruising among the nearly 1,900 islands, with
breeze softly brushing over our faces, we just wanna forget all our worries and wish to
stay there forever... Magnificent Boldt Castle on Heart Island
enchanted us so much with that beautiful love story living with it
through all those time. Some
other pictures were taken on Long Island when we were bored at home
and went out for a break. The West Meadow beach is only 5 minutes
driving from home, we usually go there on weekend afternoons, walking
and chatting, try to relax from the busy life. |
